Become a Crusader
You're ready to dive a little deeper, and we are so excited. Below, we have outlined our simple admissions process. As you go through the steps, please reach out to Denise, our Director of Admissions, at 320-257-2117 or admissions@cathedralcrusaders.org if you have any questions. We are ready to help!
Step 1 // Schedule a Tour
What’s the best way to get a feel for Cathedral? Come visit us! It’s not mandatory, but we find that families who tour our school get a real feel for the values, teaching style, and camaraderie that make Cathedral great. You’ll have an opportunity to ask all of your questions and meet faculty who may soon be teaching your child.
You might also consider our “Crusader for a Day” experience where your child can spend a school day with a current Cathedral student, experiencing first-hand what the school is like. Again, it’s not mandatory, but students and parents seem to really like this day-in-the-life experience.
Step 2 // Fill Out an Application
You’re ready to fill out an application – that’s great! Our application process is done online and helps us get a better feel for your child and your family. Within a couple of days of receiving your application, we’ll be in touch with more information!
Financial Assistance
Concerned about tuition? Let’s work through this together. You’re welcome to (and encouraged to!) apply for a variable tuition grant that tailors tuition specifically to your needs. Regardless of income level or parish affiliation, we encourage all families to go through the variable tuition process, which uses an online, third-party, confidential, and secure portal to collect family information and determine variable tuition grant awards. When you choose Catholic Community Schools, you’re investing in your child’s future, and while every penny invested is worth it, we will do our part to prevent any family from experiencing undue financial burden. To apply, click on the button below. You can also find more Financial Support resources on our Tuition & Financial Support page.
Step 3 // Plan Your Cathedral Success
Meet with our Director of Admissions Denise Klein, to discuss course options and find a tuition plan that works for your family!
Step 4 // Celebrate being a Crusader!
We know, it’s not official yet, but this is where things start to get exciting! We’ll be working with you and your child to help build their course schedule for the upcoming school year, determine extracurriculars they may be interested in, and get your family welcomed to the Crusader community. We are SO happy you’re here.
How can we help your family?

Was sending our 4 children to Cathedral worth the money and sacrifice? The answer would most definitely be YES. When you enroll your children in Cathedral, you become part of a network of families with the same values and goals. This community becomes your family and lifelong friendships have been formed, not only for us as parents, but for each of our children. Cathedral has nurtured all of our kids and made them independent, strong, well-rounded individuals who have excelled academically, socially, athletically and spiritually. We are forever grateful for the great foundation, the safe environment, and the opportunity to live their faith on a daily basis, that Cathedral has provided to our children.

I like the classroom environment at CHS. The extra support and smaller class sizes make it easy to be successful.

My experience as a non-Catholic student at Cathedral has been nothing but positive. The students here do not treat me any differently, look at me strangely, or ask questions about why I am not participating in something. They know and accept that I come from a different religious background. The teachers are also more than willing to answer any of my questions about the Catholic faith.

StudentFrom a personal standpoint, my teachers promote so much growth by encouraging me to do my best in everything I do. Cathedral as a school community provides so many opportunities in multiple ways, there is something for everyone across arts, athletics, activities. I have no doubt that everyone feels welcome at Cathedral.

AlumnaI cannot begin to count the blessings that Cathedral has provided! The lessons learned in the Spanish classroom at CHS, the international service experience in Moshi and Tanzania, the team bonding with the girls cross country team, the individual life lessons in our vocabulary and spelling books from Sister Clare, and the PHENOMENONAL community that Cathedral has. Not only an education- but truly a LIFE LONG IMPACT!

ParentsWe've always felt Cathedral conveyed the same values and morals we try to teach our children. We liked the way our children could get to know everyone in their grade and also get to know the teachers so well due to the small class sizes. We also appreciated that they could play a lot in their sports, and enjoy the benefits of a smaller student body than a larger public school.
